Since the creation of Bask in the Sun in 2013, we've had a simple objective: to prove that it's possible to create both collections with modern designs while adopting an approach that respects the environment and the partners who work with us. These are our commitments to eco-responsible, ethical and sustainable fashion.

Eco-commitments and guarantees

Organic cotton and natural materials

Whether for fleeces, jerseys, twills or denim, we favor organic cotton with the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS®) as much as possible. We also use linen, Tencel and recycled fibers.

Oeko-Tex® dyes

All our fabrics are dyed in workshops with the Oeko-Tex®label, guaranteeing non-toxic dyes for humans and the environment.

Respect for our partners

We're convinced that work is best done under the right conditions. That's why our main garment factory is GOTS® certified, a label that guarantees impeccable working conditions and wages that meet legal standards.

Local manufacturing

All our garments are designed in Guéthary in the Basque Country and manufactured 800 km away in the Braga district of northern Portugal. Just a few kilometers separate the spinning mill, dyeing plant, silk-screening workshop, garment manufacturing and shipping department. It's a real short circuit, limiting transport between each stage of production and avoiding a disastrous carbon footprint.

Quality and durability

We create quality garments that are endearing and long-lasting, with close-fitting cuts, impeccable finishing and well-thought-out details.

Donate unsold goods

With our retailers, we operate on the principle of pre-ordering to avoid unnecessary stocks. If a few pieces remain unsold at the end of the season, we donate them to charity.

These are our commitments. They reflect our commitment to ethical, sustainable and fair fashion. They prove that it's possible to be both a committed textile brand and offer a quality men's wardrobe. And we're proud of it! We might as well say it.
